ON THE ESSENCE OF THE
CONCEPT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE
Summary. The article discusses different approaches to the concept of
professional competence, outlines the essence of this concept. As a result of
the analysis of research in this area, 3 stages of the formation of this
concept are distinguished. Further, the article analyzes the classification,
structure and main components of the concept of professional competence.
