EDUCATIONAL-REALISTIC ERA OF AZERBAIJANI CHILDREN’S LITERATURE

Summary. The end of XIX and the leginning of XX centuries are special periods in the development

of Azerbaijan children’s literature. Construction of a new type of schools, the need for textbooks, problems of native-speaking schools, involvement of children in schools, women’s education, alphabet issues and others were the urgent problrms tobe salved. Poets and writers of the day put education in front of the whole environment as a problem. Childrens literature was also highlighted in shaping the next generation. S.A.Shirvani, S.M.Ganizade, R.Afandiyev, M.A.Sabir, A.Shaig, A.Nazmi, M.Sidgi and others played significant roles in the creation of necessary plays in this direction.
