THE USE OF DIDACTIC TECHNIQUES IN THE
TEACHING OF GHEMISTRY BY THE BRAIN MAP METHOD
Summary. The issues of using didactic techniques in the teaching of chemistry by
the brind map method in secondary general education schools were investigated.
It has been shown that the most important of the didactic techniques consisting
of 6 points and the one that can be applied in the teaching of all subjects is
the creation of a problem situation in the lesson and directing the course of
the lesson to the solution of the problem. According to the specific features
of the subject, there are ample opportunities to create a problem situation in
the teaching of chemistry and eliminate the problem (difficulty) with
experimental work carried out on the spot. It has been noted that eliminating
the problem situation arising during practical chemistry exercises based on the
results of specific chemical reactions and finding the affirmation in practice
increases students’ interest in chemistry, conducting experimental research,
creative thinking, and the ability to overcome difficulties.
It has been determined that the application
of the brind map method in the teaching of chemistry creates wide opportunities
for effective use of didactic techniques.
