THE IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING CRITICAL THINKING IN STUDENTS

Summary. There are different types of thinking in terms of cognitive importance. Visual-practical, visual-figurative, abstract-logical thinking in form: practical and theoretical in nature; by extension – discursive and intuitive; by novelty – there are productive and reproductive types. Among these types, critical thinking occupies a special place. Critical thinking begins to develop during adolescence. The article talks about the importance of developing critical thinking in schoolchildren.
