Summary. Pedagogical diagnosis plays a unique role in the professional activity of teachers, in the formation and development of personal qualities of students. Diagnostic research is conducted in pedagogical and psychological directions and provides an opportunity to analyze research results. Pedagogical diagnostics is a methodical, practical, theoretical, scientific direction of teaching and creates a necessity for the efficiency of this process. Pedagogical diagnostics reveals deficiencies in the educational process, enables prompt resolution of defects, and determines development directions.
