LABEL FORMULA
IN RUSSIAN AND
AZERBAIJANIAN LANGUAGES
Summary. The article discusses the history of the emergence of different
etiquette formulas in the Russian and Azerbaijani languages, the use of these
words and expressions in various communication situations, and also presents
etiquette formulas in both languages. Etiquette formulas may be different
depending on the situation. Speech etiquette represents certain rules of speech
behavior, as well as stable formulas of politeness. Etiquette formulas are
stable expressions accepted in society, provided for almost all occasions and
exist both in written and
oral forms, in all
styles and genres. With the help of etiquette formulas, they express their
attitude when meeting and parting, when they thank someone or apologize, in a
situation of acquaintance and in many other cases. Etiquette formulas are
identical in many languages in their structure and semantics.
