ICT AND MODERN EDUCATIONAL PARADIGM

Summary. The change in the modern educational paradigm is largely associated with new

opportunities created by information technology and the intensive pace of development of society. The modern educational paradigm is based on principles aimed at enhancing the independent cognitive activity of students. This paradigm involves taking responsibility for one's own learning outcomes, developing critical and creative thinking, and developing teamwork skills. The new educational paradigm is also characterized by a change in the role of the teacher. The teacher is no longer the only source of information for students, but directs and supports their cognitive activity.
