Summary. The development and progress of Azerbaijani education and culture are closely connected with the name and activities of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. Starting the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, special attention and care was paid to the field of education and culture, the quality of education, the training of competent teachers under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev. Particular attention was paid to the development of education both at the first and second stages of the reign of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
