INTERDISCIPLINARY THINKING
SKILLS AND HABITS IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Summary. In higher
education, interdisciplinary thinking skills and habits favor a more outcomes-
based pedagogical approach. The present article deals with the development,
implementation and evaluation of a constructively ordered
learning environment in an interdisciplinary field.
The article clarifies issues such as the
importance of training and teaching for interdisciplinary thinking, defining
interdisciplinary thinking, and the conceptual framework of interdisciplinary
thinking skills and habits.
