Summary. Patriotism is a big concept. It has many components. These components include being loyal to the Motherland, knowing our language well, appreciating and preserving cultural heritage, serving in the army, and so on. National patriotism is closely related to military patriotism. The peak of this patriotism is serving in the army. Today, one of the most important tasks of all educational institutions and teachers is to prepare every Azerbaijani child for army and military service. Schoolchildren should be introduced to the attributes of our independent state - flag, anthem, coat of arms.
