ENERGY CONVERSION IN THE INNER EAR, VOICE
ACTION
Summary. The article is devoted to the conversion
of mechanical oscillations (mechanical energy) into electrical signals
(electrical energy) in the ear. It has been shown that sound oscillations are
carried out as a result of a physical process occurring in the organ of Corti
located on the main membrane of the inner ear. So, under the influence of mechanical
(sound) vibrations entering the ear, the main membrane comes to dance (dances).
As a result, the auditory receptors located on the main membrane oscillate, and
the hairs located at the end of the receptors touch the cover plate, and as a
result of the piezoelectric effect in these hairs, electrical signals are
generated. These signals are transmitted to the central nervous system through
vocal cords, analyzed and appropriate sounds are produced.
