THE EFFECT OF PHYSICAL LIMITATION ON THE
DEVELOPMENT OF DEPRESSION
Summary. Research shows that physical limitation
can have a significant impact on a person's mental health. Physical limitations
can lead to feelings of frustration, hopelessness, and helplessness when they
affect a person's ability to perform daily activities, interact with others,
and engage in other activities that they once enjoyed. Especially if the
physical limitation is long-term or permanent, it can lead to depression.
It is very important to improve the
quality of life and general well-being of people with physical disabilities
with a comprehensive approach that includes both physical and psychological
aspects of health.
