SYNDROME ANALYSIS OF HIGHER MENTAL
FUNCTION DISTURBANCES
Summary. Violation of higher mental functions can
have various manifestations: in the form of a gross dysfunction, pathological
weakening or a decrease in the level of function performance. The main
classification of neuropsychological syndromes is based on the topical
principle, that is, on the allocation of the area of brain damage. In this
regard, they are primarily divided into syndromes of damage to the cortical and
subcortical regions.
