THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE OF OUR MODERN POETRY

Summary. Mahira Naghi Huseynova – vice-rector for international relations of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. She is doctor of philology, professor, presidential scholarship, a competent researcher in the field of philological sciences. However, the article does not tell about international relations and scientific activities of the university, where Mahira khanum is the vice-rector. The focus is on the poems of Mahira Huseynova. Her poems are dedicated to the Motherland, the struggle for independence, territorial integrity and freedom of our country, the feat of our sons and daughters, our martyrs, mothers. The struggle and war against the armenian invaders ended with our victory, and our native lands were liberated from occupation. Some poems by Mahira Huseynova tell about the successes of the 44-day Patriotic War and the defeat of the armenian army.
