THE ROLE OF MOTIVES IN THE LEARNING ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS

Summary. In recent times, various studies have been conducted in order to determine ways to improve the learning activities of students. In these studies, the formation and development of motives is evaluated as a way to improve the learning activity of students. In the article, the author, based on the research conducted by various scientists and himself, connects the reasons for the lack of high educational activity of higher school students with the lack of cognitive motivation in them. Analyzing this issue from different perspectives, the author explains the ways of forming and developing motives in the article.
