Summary. The article clarifies the interaction of personality adaptation to changing conditions with situations. It is explained how situations of different nature affect the personality's behavior and activities. In this direction, problematic, difficult to solve, crisis, conflict, etc. the characteristics of the situations are revealed. The difficulties of adapting the personality to the conditions created by such situations are shown and the solutions are explained.
