Summary. Technological advances in the production of equipment used in athletics, such as pole vaulting, have led to a number of changes. Serious changes have affected the athletics pole as a sports equipment. The material and manufacturing technology of the shuttlecock changed, which in turn had a strong influence on the formation of the technical skills of later jumpers.

The changes affected both the high jump technique and contributed to the emergence of different training methods in the training process. Today, athletes have a fairly wide selection of sports equipment, which in turn helps to form a certain jumping technique. Technological progress has also influenced the modification of the equipment used in the training and competitive processes.
