PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Summary. Thoughtful planning of school work is an important condition for its rational operation. It is carried out on the basis of an in-depth analysis of the consequences of a diagnostic survey of its employees. When planning the work of a school, it is necessary to be guided by the following principles: scientific approach (reliance on the laws of social development, data from modern science, requirements for the scientific organization of work, advanced pedagogical experience) purposefulness and perspective (analysis of what has been achieved, creativity, identifying ways to solve problems); consistency (the relationship between long-term and current planning, coordination of plans at all levels of education management); continuity and consistency in activities (taking into account achievements and shortcomings); specificity (identification of current issues); establishing deadlines and predicting system control; democratization and openness (involving the entire teaching staff, parents and public authorities in planning, discussion and collective approval of planned activities); continuity (combination of long-term and operational planning); unity of planning and execution; reality of planned targets; efficiency and optimality.
