FOR FORMING LEXICAL SKILLS IN ENGLISH-SPEAKING FACULTIES STUDENTS
Summary. First of all, it should be noted that methodical
and psychological literature studies show that in the last years of the last
century, preference for the lexical approach in the process of learning and
teaching foreign languages has become widespread. Psychologists and
methodologists introduced the concept of words as carriers of meaning into
teaching, making sure that no communication would take place in the absence of
them.
Specialists
of both fields proposed various ideas, considerations and specific work methods
based on the individual nature of the communicative activities of language
learners, the consideration of their tendencies, interests and abilities in
acquiring foreign languages, and as a result, the social nature of this
activity.
