Summary. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. This abstract discusses the multifaceted challenges faced by children with ADHD and their parents. Children with ADHD often struggle with academic performance, social interactions, and emotional regulation. Inattention makes it difficult for them to focus on tasks, resulting in academic underachievement and frustration. Hyperactivity and impulsivity further compound social challenges, leading to peer difficulties and strained relationships. These difficulties can erode their self-esteem and hinder their overall development. Understanding the complexities of ADHD and addressing the challenges faced by children and their parents is crucial for developing comprehensive strategies that can improve the quality of life for affected individuals and their families.
