CREATION OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING IN
AZERBAIJAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE LESSONS AND ITS ESSENCE
Summary. The problem-based approach to teaching
has a great potential to increase the awareness and power of acquiring
knowledge of schoolchildren at all stages of the educational process, to
develop children's thinking, to develop their active attitude to the surrounding
reality. Problem-based learning, or the act of problem solving, is not a new
way of learning. Throughout history, primitive examples of the Problem- Based
Learning Strategy can be seen. Starting from Aristotle and extending to
Socrates, a way of usage draws our attention. Socrates used this method most
effectively in the early ages. Problem-based learning is a learning theory that
requires high-level mental skills because it involves problem solving.
