Summary. Improving mathematics education is a multifaceted process and therefore needs to be approached from different angles. Along with the improvement of the content and methods of teaching mathematics in primary school, students should be provided with high interest, initiative and activity. In the article, the ways of using the partial search and heuristic methodical system in mathematics education are widely investigated.
