PARENTS
Summary. The study of
psychological dependence in parent-child relationships is currently a very
relevant topic. Interpersonal relations and psychological dependence mean a
decrease in the ability to behave independently in the process of support and
protection by an important person in the process of emotional closeness.
Inherent features of this problem include self-doubt, helplessness, protection
and support, need for self-sufficiency and emotional closeness, love and
acceptance, anxiety about possible rejection and loneliness, etc. The excessive
manifestation of psychological dependence in parent-child relationships
indicates the manifestation of relevant problems. This is an indicator of
distorted personal development that manifests itself in self-awareness and
personality development characteristics, and can act as a product of his
"ı-image".
