THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AND THEIR ROLES IN MODERN EDUCATION IN NORWAY AND SWEDEN
Summary. This article presents
viewpoints on inclusive education in 2 developed European nations, including
Norway and Sweden. Inclusive education, which seeks to give equal opportunity
to all students, including those with impairments or special needs, is gaining
popularity throughout Europe. Each country tackles inclusive education
differently, with unique legislation, practices, and obstacles. In Norway,
inclusive education is defined as a commitment to integrating students with
disabilities into regular schools whenever possible. Sweden has made a similar
commitment to integrating kids with impairments into regular classrooms while
providing appropriate support. While these countries are committed to inclusive
education, the extent and execution differ depending on cultural,
socioeconomic, and political variables. Understanding the various viewpoints on
inclusive education across Europe is critical for guiding policy creation,
exchanging best practices, and encouraging collaboration to guarantee equitable
access to education for all children.
