THE ROLE OF USING ENGLISH LITERARY TEXTS IN DEVELOPING STUDENTS' LANGUAGE SKILLS: A SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE ANALYSIS

Abstract.  The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of using English-language literary texts in the development of students' language skills in scientific literature. The article examines the contributions of literary texts to the development of language skills of learners in English language teaching in terms of the ideas and approaches obtained as a result of the researches and investigations of many scientists, linguists, pedagogues, and methodologists, and the role of literary texts is analyzed from the point of view of these considerations.
