MODELING OF STUDENT SELF-MANAGEMENT IN THE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION SYSTEM
Abstract. The most
important task of universities today is the introduction into the practice of
higher education of promising forms of public administration, one of which is
pedagogical and student self-management. Modern reality requires the
socialization of youth, the development of initiative and independent
subjective qualities in students who are capable of creatively and actively
building their relationships in various fields of activity on the basis of
self-education. These personality qualities are effectively formed when
managing student life, especially in the process of student self-government.
Student self-government is an attempt to combine the interests of development
and self-awareness of the individual with the interests of the state in the
formation of a competent and conscious civil society of an educational
institution. The article examines the socio-pedagogical and legal foundations
of the system of collective self-management of students, defines the
characteristics of student self-government as a form of social activity and
direction of educational work at a university.
