STAFF TRAINING ON THE SPECIALIZATION OF "SOCIAL WORK" IN AZERBAIJAN CURRENT PROBLEMS

Abstract. Solving social problems and improving people's well-being in our republic, which gained independence at the end of the last century, were among the main conditions determining the future development of Azerbaijan. For this, first of all, there was a great need for new and skilled specialists who could deal with those problems. The initiation of personnel training in the field of social work in higher schools was intended to solve such problems. The refore, first of all, special attention should be paid to the organization of teaching in higher schools where these specialists are trained. Although some work has been done in this field in the past period, we cannot consider the experience gained as satisfactory. The article addresses such important issues and provides recommendations for both theoretical and practical solutions to problems that still exist.
