THEORETICAL
AND PRACTICAL ISSUES OF SELF-EDUCATION ACTIVITIES OF SENIOR PUPILS IN
AZERBAIJANI SCHOOLS
Abstract. The article presents theoretical and practical issues of
self-educational activities of senior pupils in Azerbaijani schools. The author
reveals the essence and necessity of self-educational activities of pupils. The
types, forms, methods, means and directions used in the process of
self-educational activities of senior pupils are indicated. A model of
self-education of pupils is proposed, which is intended to form a socio-cultural
worldview, developmental learning, educational features of pupils (aesthetic,
physical, creative). The author also indicates the results and proposals for
the improvement and development of self-educational activities in comprehensive
schools.
