APPLICATION OF THE ELASTIC SOLUTION METHOD TO SOLVING PROBLEMS OF PLASTICITY THEORY
Summary. Teaching the subjects “Numerical Methods” and “Computational Mathematics”
is directly related to the fundamental areas of mathematics. At the same time,
approximate methods play an indispensable role in solving many problems encountered
in the field of applied sciences and mathematical modeling. The presented
article examines the method of elastic solutions used to solve complex problems
in the theory of plasticity and explains the method using a practical example.
