SOME SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF INCLUSIVE
EDUCATION
Abstract. Inclusive education means equal access to quality
education without discrimination among people. It is this type of education
that can provide people with disabilities equal development opportunities with
their healthy peers. Inclusive education is necessary for maximum adaptation
and full integration into the social environment of every person with
disabilities. Inclusive education is a new democratic approach to education that
encourages people to learn together. Inclusive education does not only apply to
students with disabilities. It aims to reach students who speak a different
mother tongue, have different socio-cultural backgrounds, are disadvantaged and
need special care.
