THE ROLE OF THE TEXTS IN AZERBAIJAN LANGUAGE TEXTBOOKS IN THE FORMATION OF STUDENTS' SPEECH HABITS

Abstract. In this research, it was tried to determine how and to what extent the types of texts and topics shown in the Azerbaijani language textbooks in the V-IX classes of secondary schools are included in the textbooks. In addition, it was tried to investigate whether there are differences in terms of text type and subject matter between textbooks prepared by different publishing houses. The information to be obtained is considered important as it will contribute to the preparation of textbooks.
