POSSIBILITIES OF STUDYING PHYTOTHERAPEUTIC KNOWLEDGE IN TEACHING SCHOOL BIOLOGY
Abstract. The article is devoted to the possibilities of teaching
phytothera-peutic knowledge to students in the teaching of biology in secondary
schools. Possibilities of solving the problem are investigated in textbooks and
scientific-methodical literature. From the analysis of the textbooks, it is
concluded that in the textbooks of the 7th, and 8th grades, medicinal plants
and plants are of great importance in the treatment and prevention of diseases.
Many topics in this content are reflected in textbooks. In accordance with the
realization of the standards of the subject curriculum, the topics that allow
students to be taught phytotherapeutic knowledge have been established.
However, it is possible to slightly increase the topics related to the problem,
especially to include such topics in the 9-11th grade textbooks. From the
analysis of scientific-methodical literature, it became clear that the research
on the solution of the problem has not been fully conducted, there are few
works in this field. Writing works that will help teachers with problem solving
is one of the important issues.
