THE CONTENT OF THE INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATIVE TEACHING OF GEOGRAPHY IN GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS
Abstract. The geography subject
curriculum is characterized by its tendency to be integrated among the subjects
taught in general education schools in the modern era. Integration expands the
pedagogical and methodical possibilities of geography, adds new content to it.
The main goal of introducing new integrative elements in the teaching of
subjects is to facilitate their understanding as a whole. In the scientific
research, the association of geography with physics, chemistry, biology,
mathematics and history is analyzed, their integrative possibilities are
revealed, and different pedagogical approaches are highlighted.
