REASONS OF INJURES IN VOLLEYBALL AND THEIR PREVENTION
Abstract. The article is devoted to the prevention of injuries
of volleyball players. The reasons for their specific damage and prevention
ways are being analyzed. It is noted that volleyball players’ most common
injuries are upper and lower limbs, ligaments, tendons, feet, hands sprains of
muscles, torso, shoulder, calf joints, foot their claws are worn, muscle
spasms. To ensure safety and prevent injuries while playing volleyball the
importance of following certain safety rules is emphasized. It is highlighted
that while paying attention to the movement of the opponent and responding in
time, warming up muscles, joint mobility and to increasing the amplitude,
performing technical movements and technique correctly, using correct,
specially selected uniform and shoes-all these are actions necessary to prevent
injury.
