PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL
FUNDAMENTALS OF ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION OF STUDENTS
Abstract. The topic of the article is to study the
psychological and pedagogical foundations of environmental education of
students. The article emphasizes the importance, goals of environmental
education and the role of psychological and pedagogical approaches in the
implementation of this process. Due to the increase in environmental problems
in modern times, the need to form environmental awareness and a sense of
responsibility in the younger generation is noted.
The authors of the
article show that environmental education is an effective tool in the formation
of students' thinking, emotional spheres and behavior. As for psychological
aspects, it is considered important to instill environmental knowledge taking into
account the age characteristics, cognitive processes and interests of children.
From a pedagogical point of view, the importance of educational programs
focusing on respect for nature and the formation of an ecological culture is
emphasized.
