Abstract. Institutes and universities should use new upbringing technologies to develop students' moral qualities. At this time, the forms of activity are determined based on the pedagogical situation. These include: conversations, discussions and debates, round-table discussions, student conferences, contests and competitions, socially useful and creative work, excursions and trips, theme nights, etc. The main factor determining the effectiveness of the learning process is the involvement of students in the active life of the audience. At this time, upbringing technologies that are interesting to students should be used.
