USING ICT IN TEACHING BIOLOGY AT THE SECONDARY EDUCATION LEVEL

Abstract. Our modern society has joined a historical process called informatization. This process is carried out by computerization. Informatization plays a major role in the education of the younger generation as the main source of scientific, technical and socio-economic development of society. As a result of informatization and computerization, the use of ICT has become a necessity. ICT is actually a field that encompasses a wide range of technologies related to the acquisition, storage, reuse and protection of information.

Every student who has a weak performance in using ICT in biology lessons increases his interest in learning the subject and can master practical experiences in a safe environment with the help of virtual laboratories.
