SYSTEM OF WORK ON ORGANIZING INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATION IN TEACHING THE SCHOOL BIOLOGY COURSE
Abstract.
Interdisciplinary integration is very important in the teaching of biology, as
in all subjects. Thus, when interdisciplinary integration is ensured during
teaching, the knowledge related to the subject is more easily absorbed by the
students and is remembered for a long time. At the same time, due to
interdisciplinary integration, research and scientific tendencies and logic,
thinking, and communication skills develop in students. Because biology is a
life-related subject, it can integrate with a number of subjects, including
geography, mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, STEAM, etc. belongs to. In
the article, I tried to justify the interdisciplinary integration of biology
with the mentioned subjects with examples.
