THE PROBLEM OF SUICIDE IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF PSYCHOANALYTIC THEORY
Abstract. Psychoanalytic theory offers a profound approach to suicide, noting the role of unconscious conflict. It emphasizes the importance of early relationships and internal objects in determining self-destructive tendencies. This gives the possibility that the transformation of early childhood memories into repressed traumas can be directed at the individual in the form of aggression in the future. By combining modern research and medical practice, psychoanalysis will continue to unravel the mystery of the suicide problem and give hope to those who have lost hope on this basis.
Key words: suicide, psychoanalysis,
