POSSIBILITIES OF USING THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
Abstract. The article analyzes the
issue of improving the educational process by including the democratic
principles, human rights and national values contained in the Constitution of
the Republic of Azerbaijan in the educational program. The possibility of
teaching its provisions in order to teach learners their rights and duties,
develop civic activism and legal awareness is noted. The integration of the
Constitution into various subjects stimulates critical thinking and strengthens
learners' understanding of governance and the rule of law. In addition, the use
of the Constitution in education creates opportunities for future citizens to
actively contribute to the development of a democratic society, to ensure their
active participation in the state-building process. The article uses a
qualitative approach based on content analysis, case studies and pedagogical
methods to assess the effectiveness of constitutional education in shaping
learners' social and legal consciousness.
