EDUCATIONAL FEATURES OF BAYATI AND LYRICS

Abstract. The article covers the educational and pedagogical features of bayati and lullabies, which are part of the folklore heritage of the Azerbaijani people. Bayati, as a traditional form of poetry and music, briefly and effectively glorifies moral values, friendship, family unity and love of nature. They reflect the people's philosophy of life, worldview and deep spiritual messages. Lullabies are songs used to put babies to sleep, expressing maternal love and compassion. They contribute to calming children, ensuring their psychological well-being and developing their aesthetic taste. As a result, it is shown that bayati and lullabies have a wide psychological and educational potential.
