THE ROLE OF LEARNER ASSESSMENT IN THE LEARNING PROCESS

Abstract. Assessments play an important role in learning, providing valuable feedback for self-improvement and monitoring academic performance. These factors encourage critical thinking and active learning, and support goal setting. Based on the evidence presented in the literature, it is recommended to use a variety of assessment tools to accommodate different domains and learning styles.
