THE ROLE OF VARIOUS DIALECTS AND ASPECTOS OF THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE
IN ENRICHING STUDENTS' VOCABULARY
Abstract. In the process of modern development of the Azerbaijani language,
dialects and dialects are rapidly becoming archaic. In recent years, under the
influence of mass media, facts of dialects, reflecting various tribal elements
and their mixture, are being replaced by facts of the literary language,
becoming archaic, and lexemes of special historical significance are acquiring
historicism. Certainly, language is a mirror of history and reflects
thousand-year events in the fate of the people. Naturally, the dialects and
subdialects of the Azerbaijani language are a valuable treasure in solving
historical and linguistically controversial issues of interest to historians
and linguists. The task of dialectologists is to discover and deeply study the
hidden sides of dialects and subdialects. It goes without saying that the
ethnolinguistic analysis of the dialects and subdialects of the Azerbaijani
language sheds light on many controversial historical issues. As already
mentioned, dialects are less susceptible to the influence of other languages.
In this regard, the vocabulary of our dialects and subdialects, which have
brought words and terms related to different stages of language development to
our days, is a living and reliable source.
