EXPLORİNG WAYS TO CALCULATE THE LARGEST OR SMALLEST VALUES OF FUNCTIONS
AND EXPRESSİONS
Abstract. The article deals with the problem of
finding the largest and smallest values of some functions and expressions.
Also, new methods for solving max. and min. problems are investigated. The
applied methods are intended to be useful for pupils, students and teachers in
this type of problems, both in terms of their use in secondary school and
higher education mathematics.
