MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISORDERS OF THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM
Abstract. Medical and psychological
rehabilitation of children with musculoskeletal disorders, such as cerebral
palsy and spinal curvature, includes a comprehensive impact on the child's
physical and psychoemotional state. The article discusses methods of
psychological assistance, including cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy
and relaxation techniques aimed at improving self-esteem, reducing anxiety and
depression, and developing adaptive skills. Particular attention is paid to
psychological methods that help children cope with the limitations of their
physical condition and improve social adaptation. Working with parents is an
important part of rehabilitation, as it helps create a supportive atmosphere at
home. Examples of successful programs show that the integration of
psychotherapeutic and physical education methods contributes to a faster
recovery and improved quality of life for children. Such comprehensive
approaches not only improve the physical condition, but also contribute to the
harmonious development of children with musculoskeletal disorders.
