PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE “I-IMAGE” THROUGH DIALOGUE
Abstract. The article presents ideas
about the structure of the “I-image”, reveals the problem of containing not
only social, but also socio-culturally determined content of the “I-image”. The
effectiveness of the development of the “I-image” as a result of the dialogue
tool is substantiated. The features of the development of the “I-image” at
different stages of ontogenesis are shown. The problem of a person’s self-awareness
has attracted the attention of scientists at all times. The problem has been explained
in various ways by researching philosophers and psychologists. A person has the
ability to change his ideas about himself under the influence of the experience
he has gained in life. At the same time, his communication with other people,
changes in his socio-cultural situation, experiencing the problem of the
influence of motives, the degree and ability of self-awareness are mainly
subjective.
However,
the depth and multifacetedness of self-awareness, the degree of stability, the
level of constructiveness of such self-awareness can directly affect a
person's life path, choices, actions, goal-setting and achievements. Modern
socio-cultural conditions, characterized by social-normative instructions for
human development, complicate the process of understanding one's place in the
world, in relationships with other people, which, of course, has a negative
impact on the formation of the "I-image". Understanding the regularities
and features of the development of the "I-image" in modern
socio-cultural conditions is one of the important factors in organizing
individuality, personality and the development of a person as a subject at different
age stages.
