THE ROLE OF THE TEACHER AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY IN
THE DIGITAL AGE
Abstract.
This
article explores the role of teachers and the transformation of pedagogical
practices in the digital age. The rapid development of technology has led to a
restructuring of the education system, resulting in the transformation of
teachers’ functions and teaching methods. The article provides a scientific
analysis of digital literacy, innovative pedagogical approaches, and the new
functions of teachers within the frameworks of distance and hybrid learning
models. It also evaluates the steps taken in this area within the Azerbaijani
education system and offers recommendations for the future.
