Abstract. The article primarily discusses the possibilities of using innovative technologies in improving students' cognitive activity in teaching the history of Azerbaijan. Scientific research and experience show that the use of innovative technologies in recent times has been of particular importance in improving cognitive activity in teaching the history of Azerbaijan.
