IMAGES OF A FREE WOMAN IN THE WORK OF NIZAMI GANJAVI

Abstract. The work of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi is so diverse and multifaceted that his work is studied in different directions. Before writing about the female heroes in Nizami Ganjavi's works, it is appropriate to know his thoughts about humanity in general. Thus, Nizami Ganjavi wanted to see his heroes - people - at a certain ideal level in his works. In his works, various images from all classes of the era are given, from the shepherd to the king. Among them, there are more female images. These images are both leading images and symbolic images. The names of the three works of the poet included in "Khamsa" are precisely related to the names of women.
