THE IMPORTANCE OF THINKING SKILLS IN THE FORMATION OF PERSONALITY

Abstract. In elementary grades, students encounter certain difficulties in independently mastering mathematics. This difficulty is most evident in independently solving the problem. Younger schoolchildren have difficulty separating the unimportant aspects of the specific situation described in the problem statement and independently separating the abstract mathematical dependencies therein. In order to overcome this difficulty and facilitate the process, it is necessary to find a teaching method that allows these abstract dependencies to be maximally concretized. One of such methods may be the use of graphic images in teaching.
